Location of the Camp

The international scout camp Brexventure 2013 took place on the scout campsite Brexbachtal. Brexbachtal translates to Brex stream valley. The valley is located near Koblenz which is situated on the banks of the rivers Rhine and Moselle. The campsite is located on different campgrounds on both sides of the stream. A discontinued railway line crosses the valley on some bridges.

Wuppertal

After the camp, we traveled to Wuppertal, the home town of our scout group, to spend some days with our guests in family hospitality. Wuppertal is located about 130 kilometers (80 miles) to the north from the camp. It is known for its many green areas and forests. Wuppertal is the city with the famous Schwebebahn (suspension railway). You can find more Information on Wuppertal and the Schwebebahn (see picture below) on Wikipedia.
